• Why Antique Delivery LLC is best qualified to move my antique furniture?

  Our drivers are very courteous and will go the extra mile to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your move. In addition, our drivers have over sixteen years of experience in the moving and handling of fine and antique furniture. Please note that our drivers will also, have a wide-range of knowledge in the finer facet of the antique world.

• What kind of information should I have ready when I call or email for a shipping quote?

  Please provide, if possible, a picture or dimensions of the item(s), the pickup & delivery address, sale value, & your phone number with the best time to call. In addition please provide any other pertinent information, such as; are there any steps to the front of the house, is pick up first floor delivery, etc, should be included as well, so we may be able to determine the most accurate quote.

• How long does it take to get a reply for a quote request?

  For a quote request, you may e-mail us for delivery quotes anytime, and we will get back to you within 24 - 48 business hours. We are available to take phone quotes seven days a week from, 9AM to 8PM EST. However, the most efficient way is to contact us via email.

• What type of benefits do I get if I purchase your optional Damage Protection Plan?

  We provide an unparalleled Damage Protection Policy that includes a full restoration of your item(s) if any damage(s) are incurred while it is in our control. Your item(s) will be digitally photographed before leaving the warehouse accompanied by a hand written condition report. In addition, item(s) that are picked up or delivered, the seller or buyer will be required to sign a release paper. The reasoning for the condition and release papers is to ensure that there are no discrepancies with the item(s) that are being delivered.

• How much does your Damage Protection Plan cost?

  The Damage Protection Plan is based on the sale value of the item. It costs $35.00 for the first $1,000 of value & $25.00 for each additional $1,000 of value thereafter.

• What are the states that you will delivery to?

  Currently Antique Delivery LLC will transport to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. If you have a question about a state that is not listed, please contact us via email.

• When should I expect my order to be delivered?

  You should expect your order to be delivered within 4 - 8 weeks. Please note, that orders that are placed around the holidays may be extended due to increased volume of shipments.

• What happens if I am unable to meet the delivery truck when I am scheduled for delivery?

  Our driver will contact the customer 24-48 hours prior to delivery. If our driver cannot make contact with the customer while scheduled to be in the area, or if customer is unavailable, then the item will be delayed for delivery. Please note that if the unavailability is on the part of the customer this will result in a delay in the delivery of the order approximately two to four weeks.

• Why blanket wrap my fine or antique item(s)?

  Blanket wrapping is the safest, most efficient, & ecological sound method of shipping your delicate antique furniture.

• Do you ship pianos or other extremely large & heavy items?

  We do ship large & heavy items, but conditions vary, so please call us for more information.

• How do you determine the cost to ship my item(s)?

  There is a minimum charge for deliveries of any size. However, there are some extenuating circumstances where our minimum does not apply. Beyond our minimum, costs are based on the cubic space the item requires on our truck(s). We occasionally factor in the pickup and delivery locations as well as the distance between the delivery and pickup, and the delicateness of the item, but these are factored in extreme or unique situations.

• Do I need to have a driveway?

  No, but please keep in mind that our truck must be able to park within 50 feet of the delivery location entrance.

• What if I want my furniture delivered to the second or third floor of my home or office?

  If you require a delivery involving stairs, our policy is as follows: as long as the driver deems the delivery to be safely made without injury to themselves or the handler, your items, or your property. The surcharge for transporting items not on the first floor will vary. This is in consideration of the extra time and labor involved. The payment for this is due to our drivers at the time of pick up and/or delivery. If you have, any further questions about this policy please contact via email or phone. Please note that this will include (if applicable) the stairs in front of your premises. In addition, eight steps or more will be considered as stairs, stairway, staircase, and stairwell, a set of steps, a flight of stairs or a flight of steps.

• Why is it up to the drivers to determine if it is safe to make a delivery involving stairs?

  This policy is to protect our drivers in situations that are unsafe for him or herself or the furniture they are moving. Given that we cannot be there to see for ourselves at the time of scheduling whether situation or conditions are safe, Antique Delivery LLC decided that the best solution is to let our driver(s) decide for himself or herself.

• Is there an additional cost to have you help set up my items?

  Our complementary in-home assistance with set-up is limited to 30 minutes per delivery once items are in the home. Additional time for set up can be arranged either at the time of scheduling or at the time of delivery and is billed at $60 per hour in 1-hour increments.

• When should you expect me to pay you?

  Payments will be made in full at the time of booking. Cancellations within 5 calendar days will receive a full refund. Any cancellation made after the fifth calendar day will be refunded 80% of the original booked amount.

  We accept cash, personal checks and or money orders paid to Antique Express Delivery. For credit card transactions we use Square to process payments. With this service we are able to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Debit Cards. When we take your payment you will receive a digital receipt through a text message or email.

• What form of payment do you accept?
